After a
night of drinking and darts at Sutter's Mill, we headed off to Amy's for
breakfast. We stopped off at the dental school at SUNY at Buffalo to
see c
off to work. The we headed up to Niagra
Falls, did our tourist
bit and shopping, and headed
back to the U.S.A.
We then went to watch the Patriots get lucky against the Buffalo
Bills. Monday morning I got up and headed to Atlanta by 9:30am.
I got into Atlanta late Monday night - it was Tuesday. I drove around town tuesday but wanted to save "film" for Florida. Before I left I snapped some shots (1, 2, 3) of Guinness and Hallie.
got to Jeanie's house around 6pm. We stopped in Publix and I
got my favorite chocolate chip ice cream. YUM! (being picky has
its rewards) After a rest from 8+ hours of driving, I got over to
Jimmy's place. To left you'll see the greeting I got, sigh. at least
Stumpy
was cute. It was raining (!) the first few days so except for a few forays outside,
we amused
ourselves inside. Most nights we stayed up and played cards. some other shots.
Yes, it was the trip of food. Jeanie slaved away in the kitchen for us. I snapped some pictures of Ber's kids and some others at dinner. Bernard, Emma, Laura, Orla (and tigger), Aunt Morrine, and Richie
Didn't take any pictures at the game. That's ok since the Pats weren't really there to be in a photograph. Sigh. The traffic was pretty thin even though I arrived late, and the parking was excellent. After four years of Pats season tickets I'd be hard pressed to get better parking in foxboro even if I was four hours early - a laughable thought! The Yankee's spring training stadium is right nearby, as is the new Buc's stadium.
